In the Eyes of a Child

In The Eyes Of A Child

An old broomstick and a pail,
Hardly inspire fun,
But then a Knight doth need his helm,
Run horsie, run.

Dining-room chairs are just meant to be,
So many wond'rous things,
Airplanes, car or rocket ship,
No limit to our dreams.

I don't know why when we are grown,
We have to lose that sight,
Where everything's more than what it seems,
Life's infinitely bright.
