A Man
It takes so much to be a Man,
Embody what is good,
Possessing all thenoble traits,
Doing as he should.
A Man is loving to all around,
Serves a brother's cause,
Forgives a hurt no matter how deep,
Feels charity with no pause.
A Man is strong in many ways,
His character, faith and just,
Only in power can show mercy,
Humbly says, "I'm merely dust."
A Man consigns his selfish wants,
Behind the family's need,
Machismo is just a childish game,
A disgusting vanity and greed.
One certain man who was a Man,
A carpenter from Galillee,
Compared to those I respect themost,
He's the greatest I'll ever see.
